NHS Grampian offers a part-time Band 5 position for a registered mental health nurse in their forensic community rehabilitation service. The role involves working with patients to develop independent living skills and supporting their reintegration into the community, complemented by comprehensive training and a relocation allowance.
A part time Band 5 position has opened in Great Western Lodge (Forensic community rehabilitation service).
This job is suitable for any registered mental health nurse with a keen interest in Forensic Nursing and the journey of patients through the Forensic service.
We pride ourselves on patient centred care, risk assessment and management of patients with complex rehabilitation needs and provide an active and positive environment in which patients can build their journey of recovery into the wider community.
We support 8 men with varying needs who have travelled through Forensic services and are ready to begin the process of developing independent living skills and re-entering the community after lengthy Hospital admissions.
The successful candidate will be supported in development of skills, training and support. This includes access to the New to Forensic mental Health education programme.
We are situated in a community resource in the West end of Aberdeen in close proximity to shops, community resources, cafes, and sheltered employment and bus services.
Part time 27.3 hours per week position available, over an 8 week period, covering day, night rotation and weekends.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates
