Join the Growing Mental Health Pharmacy Team in Aberdeen

The Mental Health Pharmacy team in Aberdeen is expanding! We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join us in this exciting new role. You will be a key member of our multidisciplinary mental health teams, providing patient-centered clinical pharmacy care for in-patients and out-patients in Grampian. This position offers the opportunity to develop links with, and support for, colleagues in wider settings such as primary care.

You will work across a range of clinical settings including Adult Mental Health, Old Age Psychiatry, Learning Disabilities, Rehabilitation, Forensic, and Eating Disorders Services. Additionally, you will support technician-led medicines to ensure an efficient and responsive supply of medicines.

This role involves rotational weekend working (approximately 1 day every 8 weekends) in the dispensary at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI).

Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Previous mental health experience is not required as training will be provided. We seek candidates with a solid foundation of skills to build upon, ideally with completed, ongoing, or willing to undertake post-registration training, or equivalent experience.

Interview date is provisionally set for Thursday, 29th May.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available for successful candidates.
