An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Forensic Acute Ward of Royal Cornhill Hospital for an enthusiastic registered mental health nurse who is keen to enhance/develop their clinical skills in this specialist environment.
The post holder will contribute to providing high quality evidence-based care and support to clients who experience a diverse range of mental health issues within the Acute and Forensic Services. The post holder will provide care through a progressive patient-focused approach, within a therapeutic environment and underpinned by risk assessment and management that will maximize the individual’s potential.
As a pivotal member of the team, you should possess good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), have a good understanding of current drivers and legislation. Forensic Acute is a dynamic environment and the ideal candidate should be motivated to work as a member of the team supporting a positive and therapeutic culture focused on the needs of the patient group.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
