Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic individual to provide a highly specialist applied psychology service for the post of 0.5 WTE Fixed-term 12 months - Consultant Clinical / Counselling Psychologist within NHS Grampian Gender Identity Clinic (GIC) Services. Responsibilities include developing psychology services within GIC and providing clinical leadership for the multidisciplinary GIC pathway.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver clinical work within GIC services.
  2. Provide leadership, supervision, and consultation within NHS Grampian and partner agencies.
  3. Collaborate with professional groups and partner agencies, requiring significant post-qualification experience in GIC services.
  4. Engage in leadership and strategic planning activities.
About the Service and Location

The GIC comprises a small multidisciplinary team across various health services, with links to Edinburgh University. Aberdeen is located in North East Scotland, offering excellent connectivity, natural beauty, quality schools, and outdoor activities. Hybrid working is supported, and the interview will be conducted remotely.
