About the Role

The Public Area Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in all public hotel areas, including lobby, corridors, stairwells, guest laundry, and fitness center. You may also assist with cleaning guest rooms and replenishing amenities.

  • Clean and maintain public areas and bathrooms to a high standard
  • Vacuum corridors and stairways
  • Change and replenish towels and amenities
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks regularly
  • Restock cleaning trolley daily
  • Report missing or damaged items and ensure repairs or replacements are made promptly
  • Manage waste disposal responsibly
  • Respond to guest requests efficiently
  • Follow hotel security, fire safety, and health regulations
  • Assist with lost property procedures
  • Support other departments as needed and foster good working relationships
