The Role:
- Ensure all dishes are prepared timely and to standard
- Know the menu of the day and your responsibilities
- Maintain excellent food hygiene practices from storage to service
- Ensure HACCP and COSHH compliance in all food and beverage outlets
- Minimize wastage through proper control methods
- Keep kitchen equipment in working order and report maintenance issues
- Ensure the department is prepared for business
- Follow company control procedures in line with internal audit requirements
- Properly store all food items and adhere to delivery protocols
- Be energy efficient by turning off equipment and lights when not in use
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation
- Assist in stock management, ordering, and audits
- Participate actively in training on and off the job
