Job summary

Rolls‑Royce is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support the MRO facility by picking, kitting and delivering parts and materials for rail power pack overhaul and switchboard assembly. You will play a key role in keeping production flowing, maintaining traceability and adhering to safety procedures.

You will work closely with production teams to identify shortages, prepare kits in the correct sequence, and ensure accurate stock records.

Qualifications

Follow all site work instructions, quality procedures and materials‑handling requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation and material traceability throughout picking and kitting.
Contribute to a culture of right‑first‑time delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Pick and kit components, parts, materials and consumables in accordance with job orders and BOMs.
Pick electrical and mechanical components for switchboard assembly and overhaul activities.
Ensure kits are complete and prepared to production schedules with accurate part numbers and quantities.
Verify part numbers, descriptions and quantities against documentation.
Deliver completed kits to production areas or collection points.
Maintain records of materials picked, issued and transferred.
Identify and report missing or damaged components promptly.
Support stocktaking and routine inventory checks.
Follow health, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
