Responsibilities and Duties:
  1. Record each component supplied from Cycle 2 (internal repair/supply chain) to meet the build start date per Order Task and communicate shortages to buyers promptly.
  2. Check parts for condition, accuracy against release certification, and validate quantities.
  3. Collect and allocate completed internal Cycle 2 WIP from inspection and transfer to the kitting areas.
  4. Repair split stillages after Cycle 1 inspection by relocating repairable assets to relevant internal repair locations.
  5. Identify discrepancies upon receipt of parts and raise NCIRs accordingly.
  6. Perform parts transfers as needed due to late deliveries from Cycle 2.
  7. Communicate with product team leaders regarding kitting progress, discrepancies, and schedule adherence.
  8. Secure the bonded kitting area, allowing access only to authorized personnel.
  9. Record any removal of parts from the bonded kitting area.
  10. Store parts properly, complying with EASA pt145 Aerospace MRO standards and company practices.
  11. Cross-skill in other logistics duties to maintain inventory control across the supply chain.
  12. Adhere to our Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems, and all business manuals.
  13. Support and own investigations related to stock management.
Competencies:
Core:
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Desirable:
  • Expert advice on T56, TFE731, or PW300 engine series.
  • Experience with Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Functional:
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality procedures and documentation.
  • Proficient with computers, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
  • Practical knowledge of material control in aerospace.
Desirable:
  • Experience with Navixa ERP system.
Organizational Relationships:
  • Interact with operations managers, team leaders, and technical staff.
  • Position within the Supply Chain - Engines team.
Qualifications and Training:
Essential:
  • GCSE English with good communication skills.
  • Human Factors training (for new starters).
Desirable:
  • Relevant industry qualifications.
Experience:

Previous aerospace MRO experience, ideally in inspection, materials, or stores.
