Job summary

Scottish Football Association in Glasgow is seeking a Kitroom Assistant to support the kit and ancillary items for all national teams, based at Hampden.

You will assist in preparing and maintaining equipment, manage stock controls, coordinate kit transport to matches, and help with laundering and upkeep of washing facilities. This permanent, full-time role reports to James Barbour and offers a hands-on environment supporting Scotland’s national squads.

Qualifications

• Experience with stock controls and equipment preparation.
• Ability to handle laundering and upkeep of kit and washing facilities.
• Organisational skills to manage kit for multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of sufficient equipment to service the needs of all national teams, ensuring that all demands are met
• Assist in the administration and maintenance of accurate stock controls
• Assist within the liaison with the Matches and National Teams Departments ensuring kit is prepared and distributed timeously
• Assist in the co-ordination and transport of all kit to matches both home and abroad
• Assist in the laundering of kit and the general up-keep of washing machines and chemicals
• Carry out other kit and equipment related tasks as deemed necessary by the Kit Manager.
