Kitchen Utility Position - Full-Time

RiverWoods is currently seeking a Full-time dishwasher/ kitchen utility worker to join our culinary team and contribute to our resident-focused community. You’ll enjoy meaningful work in an environment where you can make a difference in the lives of our residents every day. The ideal candidate would be able to work 11:30am to 8pm Tuesday- Saturday; however, additional schedules may be available.

Responsibilities
  • Clean dishes, pots and pans, glassware, and silverware by hand or machine.
  • Transport clean and dry tableware to proper places in dining rooms and kitchens.
  • Clean working areas, steam tables, refrigerators, and kitchen equipment.
  • Assist in cutting, peeling, and washing fruits and vegetables (as State youth laws permit).
  • Remove garbage from kitchen areas.
  • Sweep and mop floors thoroughly at the end of the shift.
  • Follow daily sanitation cleaning schedule.
  • Check in and stock groceries.
  • Discard broken and chipped glassware after showing the items to be discarded to the Sous Chef.
  • Help set up and break down after Special Functions and deliver food to various areas as needed.
