Job summary

Stonegate Group is hiring a Kitchen Team Member for Adelphi in Preston. You will support the kitchen with food prep, maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and assist with orders and stock control under guidance from the Head Chef.

The role offers exposure to a busy hospitality venue and opportunities to develop culinary skills. You will work as part of a team, contribute to great guest experiences, and help deliver a daily top-quality dining service across our pub and kitchen

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and delivering great guest experiences.
• Willingness to learn new skills every day.
• Keen eye for detail to ensure quality and consistency.
• Ability to assist the Head Chef with orders, stock checks and hygiene duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and cooking to the venue's standards.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification.
• Maintain clean, hygienic kitchen conditions at all times.
• Oversee deliveries and stock receipt/rotation.
• Offer ideas to improve kitchen performance and efficiency.
• Work with the team to meet company targets.

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Member

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
