Job summary

J D Wetherspoon in Wells is hiring Kitchen staff to work at The Quarter Jack. You’ll join a team to prepare and cook food, and help keep the kitchen running smoothly while upholding high cleanliness and safety standards.

No previous experience is required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are enough, with comprehensive training provided through our award-winning programme. Flexible shifts and opportunities for progression are available.

Qualifications

• No experience required; a good attitude and willingness to learn.
• Calm head under pressure and reliability.
• Friendly team player who can work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to correct spec.
• Operate kitchen stations and equipment (grills, fryers, microwaves, etc.).
• Work as part of a team to meet time and quality targets.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, health and safety standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean and rotate stock.
• Complete induction and ongoing training.
