Job summary

The Wheatsheaf Inn in Kilmarnock, part of J D Wetherspoon, is seeking kitchen staff. No experience is required — just a positive attitude, willingness to learn and a calm head under pressure.

Qualifications

• No experience is needed, just a good attitude, a willingness to learn and a calm head under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to the correct spec.
• Operate kitchen work stations, including grills, fryers, microwaves and more.
• Work as part of a team to keep to time and quality targets.
• Follow food hygiene and allergen, health and safety standards.
• Clean as you go and during full kitchen clean-downs.
• Rotate stock and store food safely.
• Complete induction and ongoing refresher training.
