Slug And Lettuce Oxford Circus is recruiting a Kitchen Team Member to support the Head Chef with orders, stock checks and food hygiene, while delivering consistently high-quality dishes in a fast-paced pub kitchen.

You will work as part of a friendly team at a popular central venue, enjoying flexible working patterns and opportunities to develop skills in food preparation, kitchen maintenance and guest service.

Qualifications

• A passion for Hospitality
• Willingness to learn new skills everyday
• Keen eye for detail
• Ability to assist the Head Chef with orders, stock taking, food hygiene
• Experience to maintain kitchen equipment

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
