Job summary

Slug & Lettuce, Leeds is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join Stonegate Pub Company. You’ll support the Head Chef with orders, stock checks and food hygiene, helping to deliver quality dishes in a fast-paced pub kitchen.

As part of our team you’ll keep the kitchen clean, contribute ideas to improve performance and work with colleagues to hit targets while developing your career in hospitality at one of the UK’s leading pub operators.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and customer service.
• Willingness to learn new skills daily, in a fast-paced pub environment.
• Assist Head Chef with orders, stock taking and food hygiene.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and keep the area clean.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and cooking to spec.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
• Offer ideas to improve kitchen performance.
• Work with the team to achieve targets.
