**Overview**. We’re looking for a food-loving kitchen person to join our team at Ground Coffee Society in Putney.. . Our menu is small but mighty — we’re known for serving some of the best toasties in London, alongside a few well-executed small plates. You’ll be working in our café kitchen, prepping sandwiches and plates to detailed specs. Full training provided.. . Cleanliness and hygiene are absolutely essential. You must be confident with food handling, know basic food safety standards, and keep a tidy, well-organised kitchen space at all times.. . **Duties**. - Minimum 4 days a week, including Friday, Saturday and Sunday. - 8-hour shifts, typically 6:30am – 2:30pm. - Prepping food to spec (mainly toasties and sandwiches, simple brunch menu and basic baking). - General cleaning during quiet times. - Keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and well-organised. . . **Requirements**. - Love food and take pride in presentation. - Confident with food handling and hygiene. - Naturally tidy, hygienic and organised. - Reliable and able to follow instructions. - Happy working solo or as part of a small team. . . An in-person interview in Putney SW15 1ET will be required.. . We’re a tight-knit crew that cares about doing things properly.
