Job summary

Premier Inn in Glasgow (Newton Mearns) is seeking a Kitchen Team Member. You will help prepare, cook and serve meals that contribute to guests’ stays, including breakfast and dinner services. No hotel experience required, just reliability and teamwork.

The role offers permanent or fixed-term contracts with flexible hours around top guest periods, evenings and weekends, and opportunities to grow within Premier Inn.

Kitchen Team Member – Glasgow Newton Mearns (M77 / J4)Premier Inn

This isn’t just about cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent or Fixed term contracts available

Hours: 10 hours per week, flexible contracts available

Location: Greenlaw Crookfur Road, Newton Mearns, Glasgow, G77 6EF

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
