Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to drive a busy pub kitchen with clear leadership and hands-on cooking. You’ll ensure the team have everything they need, maintain high standards, and help the service run like clockwork.

You’ll deputise for management when needed, organise the team during peak times, and motivate colleagues to deliver great meals with consistency and pride.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong cooking skills and understanding of kitchen operations.
• Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Knowledge of allergen controls and customer safety.
• Clear, effective communication in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
