Miller & Carter – Exeter invites a Kitchen Team Leader to support the Head Chef in building a kitchen to be proud of, and to own the branded menu with a passion for serving great food. You will train great people and help guests feel welcome in a vibrant steakhouse.

You will drive performance, manage food ordering and stock control, and ensure health and hygiene standards are consistently met while leading with energy and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team
• Passion for delivering great food
• Ability to train and coach staff
• Strong understanding of health and hygiene standards

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Support with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
