Job summary

Social Pub & Kitchen at Hyde Park Hotel in Leeds is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support, mentor and lead the kitchen brigade. You will work closely with the Kitchen Manager to deliver high-quality dishes and maintain standards.

You will oversee food prep, stock, hygiene, safety, and contribute ideas to improve performance while helping the team achieve targets and provide an excellent guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a kitchen team and mentoring staff.
• Strong food knowledge and ability to deliver dishes to specification.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, health & safety and legal knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for guests.
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and management of supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
• Offer ideas to improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Lead the team to achieve company targets.
