Job summary

Cornerstone pubs is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide a busy kitchen, ensuring service runs smoothly and dishes meet our high standards. You’ll support the team, uphold hygiene, and deputise for management when needed.

You’ll thrive under pressure, motivate colleagues, and deliver consistent, well-presented meals while maintaining allergen controls and a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to guarantee safety of the team and visitors.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve issues in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team.
• A passion for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers.
• Be a role model by maintaining high standards and ensuring every customer receives a perfect plate.
• Think on your feet and adapt to challenges during busy service.

As a Kitchen Team Leader, you’ll lead by example making sure the team have everything they need so service runs like clockwork! You’ll support your team by encouraging and helping them to work well together, ensuring every dish served is of the highest standards.
