Job summary

Beckfields pub in Tees Valley area is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide and support the kitchen crew, ensuring consistent quality and guest satisfaction. You will coach, mentor, and develop the team, maintain high standards of food knowledge, and uphold COSHH, Food Safety and H&S compliance across the brigade.

In this role you’ll assist with stock management and preparation, supervise in the Kitchen Manager’s absence, and contribute ideas to improve kitchen performance within Stonegate

Qualifications

• Coaching and mentoring the kitchen team.
• High standard of food knowledge and skill.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S knowledge.
• Willing to develop personally and lead the brigade.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes to specification.
• Oversee kitchen team in absence of Kitchen Manager.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and supplies.
• Ensure kitchen remains clean and hygienic.
• Offer ideas to improve kitchen performance.
• Lead the team to meet company targets.

Are you a Kitchen Team Leader or an experienced Kitchen Team Member who is ready to take the next step. As a Kitchen Team Leader you will play a pivotal role in our business success, whilst there will be an opportunity to develop your skills to enhance your career.

As a Kitchen Team Leader, do you have…

• The ability to assist in supporting, coaching, and mentoring your team
• A high standard of food knowledge and skill
• An up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal knowledge
• A willingness to develop on a personal level whilst also helping propel the brigade forward at Beckfields

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Leader

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and management of supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• lead the team to achieve company targets.
