• The ability to support, coach, and mentor your team
• A high standard of food knowledge and skill
• An up-to-date understanding of COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, and legal requirements
• A willingness to develop personally while helping to propel the brigade forward at Slug And Lettuce

Some of the responsibilities of a Kitchen Team Leader include:

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager
• Consistently produce high-quality dishes according to specifications for our guests
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager
• Assist with stock management, ordering, and supplies management
• Maintain the kitchen in an excellent, clean, and hygienic condition at all times
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas to improve kitchen performance
• Lead the team to achieve company targets
