Job summary

Stonegate Group is recruiting a Kitchen Team Leader for Fairhaven Lytham. You will coach and mentor the kitchen brigade, maintain high standards of food knowledge, and ensure COSHH, safety and legal requirements are met while supporting the Kitchen Manager.

Applicants should be ready to lead, develop the team, and contribute to delivering quality dishes in a busy, guest-focused environment at Fairhaven Lytham.

Qualifications

• Assist in supporting, coaching and mentoring your team.
• High standard of food knowledge and skill.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal knowledge.
• Willingness to develop personally whilst helping the brigade forward at Fairhaven Lytham.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and management of supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas to improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Lead the team to achieve company targets.
