Job summary

Stonegate Group's Fairhaven Lytham is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide the kitchen brigade, mentor colleagues and uphold top standards in food preparation and service.

You will partner with the Kitchen Manager to produce high-quality dishes, supervise in their absence, manage stock, maintain hygiene, and contribute ideas to improve performance while delivering a warm, welcoming pub experience at Fairhaven.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a busy pub/restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and COSHH requirements.
• Ability to coach, mentor and develop kitchen staff to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for guests.
• Support with stock management, ordering, and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen and follow safety standards.
• Lead the team to achieve company targets and drive improvements.

The Opportunity

Are you a Kitchen Team Leader or an experienced Kitchen Team Member who is ready to take the next step. As a Kitchen Team Leader you will play a pivotal role in our business success, whilst there will be an opportunity to develop your skills to enhance your career.

As a Kitchen Team Leader, do you have…

• The ability to assist in supporting, coaching, and mentoring your team
• A high standard of food knowledge and skill
• An up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal knowledge
• A willingness to develop on a personal level whilst also helping propel the brigade forward at Fairhaven Lytham

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Leader

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and management of supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• lead the team to achieve company targets.
