Job summary

Miller & Carter – Mirfield, part of Mitchells & Butlers PLC, is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support the Head Chef in building a kitchen you can be proud of. You will lead, train and inspire a team, manage stock and costs, and help ensure the brand's menu is delivered to high standards.

You will drive performance, oversee health and hygiene, and play a key role in a journey of progression across the business. Flexible shifts and strong team culture await.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams and training staff to deliver quality dishes.
• Proven ability to manage stock, orders and cost controls.
• Strong knowledge of health and hygiene regulations and branded menus.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire the kitchen team to deliver food the business is proud of.
• Drive performance to smash targets with the team.
• Assist with food ordering, prep and stock control, and ensure menu standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Support Head Chef and contribute to a high-performing kitchen culture.
