Kitchen Team Leader – Kendal CentralPremier Inn

Join our team at Premier Inn Kendal Central as a Kitchen Team Leader and advance your Chef career.

You’ll manage the kitchen daily – overseeing rotas, food orders, leading the team during busy services, and maintaining audit readiness. Collaborating closely with your Hotel Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the kitchen, from food quality to hygiene standards. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for those aiming to develop skills to become a Head Chef.

PAY RATE:

Up to £13.81 per hour

HOURS:

40 hours per week across 5 days, including evenings and weekends, with guaranteed hours to plan your week ahead.

What you’ll do:
  • Own food ordering, stock control, and manage food costs for the hotel.
  • Lead during service, organizing the team, managing workflow, and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Prepare, cook, and serve menu items to specifications, from breakfasts to pub classics.
  • Ensure the kitchen meets health, safety, and hygiene standards, keeping the team trained and records up to date.
  • Step up when needed by running shifts and helping new team members settle in.
