Job summary

Greene King pubs are seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide a busy kitchen during service, ensuring every dish meets our high standards and customer expectations.

You will lead by example, support your team, and deputise for management when needed, keeping hygiene, safety, and efficiency at the core of every service across our well-known brands.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and meet customer expectations.
• Passion for delivering tasty, well-presented meals.
• Be a role model to the team by maintaining high standards.
• Think on your feet and adapt during busy service.
• Sufficient spoken and written English for safety and allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee safety of the team and visitors.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve issues in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
