Kitchen Team Leader – Faversham Premier Inn

Join our team at Premier Inn in Faversham as a Kitchen Team Leader and advance your Chef career.

You’ll manage the kitchen daily—overseeing rotas, placing food orders, leading during busy services, and ensuring everything is audit-ready. Working closely with your Hotel Manager,

you’ll take full ownership of the kitchen, from food quality to hygiene standards.

This hands-on leadership role is ideal for those looking to develop skills towards becoming a Head Chef.

Pay Rate:

Up to £13.81 per hour

Hours:

30 hours over 5 days per week – guaranteed hours for planning your week

What you’ll do:
  • Manage food ordering, stock control, and food costs for the hotel.
  • Lead during service, organizing the team and managing workflow.
  • Prepare, cook, and serve menu items to specification, including breakfast and pub classics.
  • Ensure the kitchen meets health, safety, and hygiene standards, maintaining training and records.
  • Step in to run shifts and support new team members.
  • Learn kitchen management to prepare for more senior roles as you grow with us.
