Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide the kitchen brigade and ensure the highest quality dishes are served. You will help your team work efficiently, maintain food hygiene, and support management during busy service, while upholding brand standards across our pubs.

Ideal candidates will lead by example, stay calm under pressure, and communicate clearly in English to ensure allergen controls are followed and every guest receives excellent meals.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a kitchen team under pressure and maintain high standards.
• Experience in preparing, cooking and presenting food to meet specs and customer expectations.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform role safely and understand allergen controls.

Job Description

As a Kitchen Team Leader, you’ll lead by example making sure the team have everything they need so service runs like clockwork! You’ll support your team by encouraging and helping them to work well together, ensuring every dish served is of the highest standards.

Qualifications

As a Kitchen Team Leader, you will…

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service, making sure everything runs like clockwork.

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team when needed.
• A passion for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers each and every time.
• Be a role model to the team by maintaining high standards and making sure every customer receives the perfect plate.
