Role Overview
AsKitchenTeam
Leader, you will play a pivotal role in helping to lead our team of chefs
to success. Working closely with theFood, Beverage & Kitchen
Manager,you will maintainhigh standards in service, hygiene,
and efficiencyacross all aspects of the kitchen. From food
preparation to staff mentorship, your expertise will ensure a seamless and
high-quality dining experience to wow every guest.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN
TEAM LEADER ATOUR HOTEL
Key Responsibilities
·Lead
and support all chefs in daily operations
·Ensure
dish quality, presentation, and consistency meet the expectations of guests and
the hotel
·Assist
with stock planning, control and ordering
·Maintain
health & safety and food hygiene practices across the department to deliver
exceptional audit scores
·Assist
with menu development across breakfast, dinner and events
·Train
and mentor chefs, fostering a positive and productive work environment
·Work
closely with the restaurant and bar teams to ensure seamless service and guest
satisfaction
·Monitor
kitchen financial performance and working with the FBK manager implement
cost-control measures to aid the department to deliver against budget
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
-Previous chef experience in a
kitchen leadership role or ready to take the next step in your development-
Strong team management and communication skills
- Passion for high-quality food
and service
- Ability to work efficiently in
a fast-paced environment on own or as part of a team
- Confident to deliver up to
date food safety and hygiene regulations
- Flexibility to work mornings,
evenings, and weekends
