Maki & Ramen is seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to support the management team in running busy kitchen operations. You will lead the kitchen during service, maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, and help train staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum supervisory kitchen experience in a busy hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good understanding of food hygiene, kitchen safety, and allergen procedures.
• Ability to maintain high food quality and presentation during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring smooth, organised, and efficient operations.
• Lead, motivate, and guide the kitchen team during service to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to Maki & Ramen recipes and standards.
• Coordinate closely with the front-of-house team to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.
• Assist with staff training, onboarding, and ongoing development of kitchen team members.
• Maintain excellent standards of kitchen cleanliness, organisation, and food storage.
• Help monitor stock levels, deliveries, portion control, wastage, and kitchen procedures.
• Support ordering, stock rotation, and inventory management where required.
• Ensure food preparation and service areas are properly set up before and maintained throughout service.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety requirements, food hygiene standards, and allergen procedures.
• Support the management team in maintaining a positive, productive, and professional kitchen environment.
