Qualifications

  • Desirable: Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward / Porter.
  • Desirable: Ability to work in an organised manner and remain calm under pressure.

Overview

As a Kitchen Steward / Porter, you will be responsible for assisting the Kitchen Team with disposing of kitchen waste and deep cleaning of the kitchen and wash up areas. Responsibilities include maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety in the kitchen, carrying out cleaning duties as specified by the Kitchen Manager such as sweeping and mopping floors and operating pot-washing machinery.

  • Carry out cleaning duties as specified by the Kitchen Manager (e.g., sweeping and mopping floors, operating pot-washing machinery)

£12.37 per hour GBP

Contract

Fixed-term contract until 5th January 2026. Working straight shifts with 64 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. The village is open 365 days a year; hours may include public/bank holidays and Christmas/New Year on a rota basis.
