IKEA Norwich are looking to welcome a Kitchen sales planner, in IKEA we call this a sales specialist .

Are you passionate about interior design and love bringing creative visions to life? We are looking for talented individuals to help design and sell our customers their dream kitchens. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working with innovative planning tools, we want to hear from you!

You will be based in our New Norwich unit, meeting and planning kitchens for customers face to face and online for those customers who can't travel.

WHAT WE OFFER

• The Start Date of employment : July 2025
• The starting salary for this role is £26,400 per annum, based on competence and experience.
• 39 Hours working 4 days per week including a variety of shifts, covering days, evenings and alternate weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Experience in kitchen planning is advantageous and you will be confident in conducting sales discussions with ease.
• Experience of working in a customer and commercial-oriented business, with an interest in people’s everyday life at home within their kitchen.
• Confidence to take personal initiatives and be open to change, with the ability to both find solutions to complex problems and be able to communicate to the customer.
• Confident in using computer software.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING ON THE DAY TO DAY

• You actively engage with our customers to identify their needs and how to inspire and advise them on the best solutions for their life at home through home furnishings.
• Confidently engage with the customers face to face or online, to complete their journey from planning to selling.
• Support maximising sales by being proud of your areas of responsibility, ensuring the customer meets an area that is clean, well presented and easy to shop.
• Kitchen Planning & Designing for up to 2 hours with an additional 30-60 minutes to provide accurate plans, worktop and installation quotations for the customer.
• Support the customers needs from planning, selling and aftersales, securing payments both in store and remotely.

The training plan for each co-worker will include a period of training prior to the store opening where travel to another IKEA Store will be organised and fully covered by IKEA. This ensures that any travel will not create any personal expenses and we will create as much flexibility as possible to suit individual needs.
