About

This Kitchen Sales Designer role is based at our Cathedral Hill, Guildford branch and offers a permanent part-time position, working 20 hours per week.

Role Overview

As a Kitchen Sales Designer, you will support our Trade customers by turning their clients' dream kitchens into reality. Meeting end users in their homes, you will listen to their vision, understand their needs, and offer expert advice. You will plan and design inspirational kitchens that exceed expectations in both design and utility. You should have the confidence to negotiate with Trade customers while promoting the integrity and value of our products.

Skills and Attributes

  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Design eye (Previous CAD experience preferred but not essential)
  • Previous sales experience
  • Prioritization and organization skills
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Results-driven mindset
  • Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle

We provide face-to-face and online training via our Howdens Academy, covering kitchen measuring, design, technical product knowledge, and sales skills. We seek enthusiastic, energetic individuals passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences that lead to sales.
