Position Overview
• Join our boutique studio and take ownership of client relationships from initial consultation through to project delivery. This role is ideal for a confident and detail-oriented design professional with a commercial mindset. You’ll combine technical design expertise with a flair for presentation and client service, working directly on high-value interiors, kitchens, and bespoke fit-outs within a dynamic, design-led environment.
Hours:
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (Saturdays/Sundays or extended hours may be required from time to time, with flexibility as required by project commitments)
Studio-Based | Client-Facing | High-End Interiors & Architectural Design
• This studio-based role combines client engagement, design development, supplier liaison, and sales progression within a premium design and build practice. The successful candidate will play an active part in guiding clients through a seamless design journey—balancing creative expertise with commercial awareness—while upholding the high visual and service standards expected of a boutique, design-led studio.
The role includes ongoing training and development in advanced design software, including Revit and Lumion, enabling the right candidate to grow within a multidisciplinary environment that blends interiors, architectural detailing, and bespoke manufacturing.
Core Responsibilities:
• The Design Sales Studio Specialist will:
o Prepare concept and technical designs for kitchens, interiors, and bespoke joinery using Winner and SketchUp (essential).
o Assist in developing architectural drawings for refurbishments, extensions, and internal layouts using Revit (desired but not essential; full training provided).
o Support the production of lighting and electrical layout plans in Revit, with training and supervision.
o Generate realistic, high-quality CGI visualisations using Lumion (training provided).
o Attend client consultations and project briefings, supporting both creative development and technical interpretation.
o Guide clients confidently through the full design and proposal journey—from concept through to quotation acceptance and purchase decisions.
o Maintain consistent client communication throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clarity, satisfaction, and continued engagement.
o Participate in progress meetings with clients during project delivery, identifying potential issues early and reporting directly to the Studio Director.
o Liaise professionally with external suppliers, manufacturers, and trades on behalf of the studio and the wider Globe & De Blasio brand.
o Document all design specifications, pricing, and layout revisions in the studio’s CRM and file systems in a timely and organised manner.
o Support scheduling, project administration, and studio operations under the direction of the Studio Director.
o Contribute to the upkeep of a welcoming, professional studio environment, including client hospitality and day-to-day presentation.
Skills & Attributes:
• Proficient in Winner (or similar kitchen design software) and SketchUp (essential).
• Open and committed to training in Revit and Lumion as key architectural and visualisation tools.
• Strong aptitude for spatial planning, visual balance, and technical layout.
• Commercially aware with a confident, consultative approach to securing client buy-in and converting design-led proposals into sales.
• Articulate and self-assured communicator, comfortable in both client-facing and supplier liaison settings.
• Maintains a highly professional appearance and demeanor, appropriate for a premium studio environment and high-net-worth clientele.
• Exceptionally organised, deadline-conscious, and meticulous in attention to detail.
• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of contributing across multiple project types and delivery phases.
• Willing to participate in wider studio operations, including presentation standards, hospitality, and client care.
• Full UK driving license (essential), with occasional travel to project sites and supplier meetings required.
Progression & Structure:
All architectural design duties, including Revit work and electrical layouts, will be undertaken with direct support and oversight from the Studio Director. This role is structured to complement the existing team while providing a clear development pathway into architectural, project-based, and client leadership responsibilities.
