Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen is preferred, but not essential.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Food and Health and Safety regulations is advantageous.

About the role

As a kitchen porter, you will be required to undertake the following duties:

• Complete a daily schedule of cleaning
• Clean all kitchen utensils, china, cutlery, and other light equipment, storing such equipment in a tidy and safe manner, and clean all fixed items of equipment in the kitchen
• Clean floors and tables in the kitchen and preparation rooms, set up buffets and kitchen service, and carry out other duties as necessary in a professional and efficient manner

About you

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment; however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.

In addition, you will be:

• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
• Possess a positive approach to work and the ability to work under pressure both in a team and independently
• Knowledge of Food and Health and Safety regulations would be advantageous
