Job description

Job Title: Kitchen Porter

Location: The Ullswater Inn

The Ullswater Inn is now looking to recruit a Kitchen Porter. The Inn Collection Group is a multi award-winning pubs with rooms company in outstanding locations across the North of England and Wales. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the kitchen team in the production of food and maintaining food hygiene to the highest standards.
  2. Be responsible for the wash-up area for crockery, cutlery & kitchen equipment.
  3. Assist with basic food preparation when required. Full training will be given to our successful kitchen porter.
  4. Clean the kitchen and kitchen equipment as directed and following the kitchen cleaning schedule.
  5. Perform other general duties that contribute to a smoothly run kitchen.
Requirements:
  1. Able to work as part of a team.
  2. Hold high standards of personal presentation.
  3. Be confident and courteous when dealing with customers and team members.
  4. Be hardworking and willing to learn new skills.
  5. Be flexible to changing needs.

Age-related pay rates apply for Under 21s: 18-20 £9.00 per hour. Under 18s £8.00 per hour.
