Clays in Greater London is hiring a seasonal, part-time Kitchen Porter to support all kitchen areas, maintain high cleanliness standards, and assist chefs with basic prep. You will follow instructions, work efficiently, and progress through the Clayers Academy for development.

The role offers a competitive base salary of £13.17 per hour plus weekly service charges, with extensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the expanding Clays brand.

Qualifications

• Proven time management and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
• Level 1 Food Safety training or certified training provided.
• Awareness of COSHH regulations and chemical safety is required or training provided.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; teamwork and reliability emphasized.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the kitchen and floors.
• Remove kitchen waste and dispose of properly.
• Follow weekly cleaning schedule and contribute to hygiene routines.
• Wash dishes by hand; operate dishwasher as needed.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation.
• Provide support to all kitchen staff and contribute to smooth service.
