Pay: £12.21 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Working: Monday to Friday (7:00-15:00 and 12:00-20:00 (alternate early/Late shifts on Rota)

As a Kitchen Porter for Sodexo in LVS Ascot, SL5 8DR, you will be a key part of the kitchen team .You'll be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness within the kitchen and food & beverage preparation areas. Your cheerful, can-do attitude will make you a major part of everyone's everyday experience.

What You’ll Do:

Wash all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and equipment, as well as food service equipment.

Ensure the following are kept clean and tidy to a very high standard:

Floors & Walls

Bins – inside and out

Crushing and disposal of cardboard and boxes

Fridges & Freezers (with assistance from chefs)

Delivery areas

Maintain cleanliness and safety of working areas.

Adhere to all health and safety, fire, hygiene, and COSHH regulations governing your work, ensuring the correct chemicals/detergents are always used.

Report all accidents (and near misses) to the Chef.

Report any shortages in equipment or chemicals to the Supervisor.

What You Bring:

Previous work experience in Catering required.

Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others.

Ability to lift heavy items and work in a standing position for long periods (up to 8 hours).
