£12.21 per hour, term-time only. Working only 38 weeks of the year!

27.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday




We want you...

fantastic craft skills and a thorough understanding and knowledge of managing allergens to help us create an outstanding food
offer at our school site in Godalming, Surrey with approximately 230 children on site. You will be reporting into the Chef Manager
at the main school site.

ensuring that our future generations are provided with nutritious and delicious food, while also inspiring them to lead a

As our ideal Kitchen Porter you will:

* Have good communication skills at all levels
* General kitchen duties
* Using a mechanical dishwasher and sinks to wash up.
* Putting away delivery’s with good stock practice
* Carry out pot washing and dish cleaning
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
* Undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team
* Speaking to each customer and team member in a friendly, helpful and professional manner




Some experience of working in boarding schools would be preferred. The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work
overtime as required.
