Job summary

Quest Employment Ltd. is seeking a Kitchen Porter for a busy warehouse kitchen in Reading RG6. The role focuses on dishwashing, cleaning, basic prep, and assisting with stock control in a fast-paced environment.

You will work flexible/ad-hoc shifts with weekly pay and full training to maintain food safety and hygiene standards while supporting a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Porter, Kitchen Assistant or Cleaner preferred, but a proactive and hard-working attitude is key.
• Good understanding of basic kitchen safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Reliable transportation to travel to Reading RG6.

• Washing plates, cutlery, cooking utensils, and heavy kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashers and manual pot-washing sinks.
