Job summary

Dirty Martini is hiring a Kitchen Porter to join the kitchen team and support daily prep, cleaning, and stock organization. The role demands a practical, hands-on approach in a fast-paced venue.

This part-time position offers shifts over weekends (Fri–Sun) with pay at National Minimum Wage plus service charge, and opportunities for training and development in a vibrant team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as kitchen porter is preferred but not required.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items.
• Must adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, peel, cut and chop fruits, vegetables, poultry, and meat.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation areas and sanitize surfaces.
• Clean and store cooking appliances, utensils, boards and dishes.
• Keep kitchen floors clean through sweeping, mopping and wiping walls.
• Unloading and organizing delivered food supplies.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of food supplies.
• Transfer meal ingredients from storage to the kitchen as instructed by the Cook.
• Assist with inventory control and record notable food wastage.
• Be a team player and follow instructions.
