Job summary

Eden Hall Day Spa in Nottinghamshire is seeking a part-time Kitchen Porter to keep the kitchen running smoothly. The role requires pride in your work, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to getting the job done, even if you have no previous kitchen experience.

You will work 20 hours per week across 4 days, with the opportunity to join a friendly, high-end spa team. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all equipment is cleaned to the set standard
• Following correct cleaning procedures with the use of cleaning schedules
• Beingaware of the need to use the correct chemicals.
• Ensuring all pots, pans, crockery are cleaned thoroughly throughout the day.
• Maintaining a neat appearance of the pot wash area and cleaning equipment storage areas.
• Beingable to sweep and mop the kitchen floor at the end of each shift
• Ensuring all bins are emptied throughout the day and are washed inside and out at the end of each shift

As our Kitchen Porter you are the heart of our operation to keep the food reaching tables and our guests being served. We are looking for someone who has enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

You do not need to have experience working in a kitchen, what matters most to us is that you take pride in what you do, you are committed to get the job done and you always come to work with a desire to do better than the day before.

Additional Information

• 20 hours per week
• Working 4 out of 7 days per week
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application and throughout their employment. Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship now or in the future for this position
