Ontano Lounge is seeking a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join a busy, friendly kitchen team. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean, safe, and well organised while supporting our chefs with food prep as needed.

This role is essential to delivering freshly cooked food on spec and on time, every time. Evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or hospitality is helpful, but attitude and reliability matter most.
• Must be punctual, hardworking, and able to work in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to follow hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well organised throughout the day.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment, and washing up.

We're looking for a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our busy, friendly, supportive kitchen team. In this role, you'll help keep the kitchen clean, safe, organised, and ready for service while also supporting our chefs with food prep when needed. It's a simple but vital role. Without you, the kitchen doesn't run properly. You'll play a huge part in making sure the team can deliver freshly cooked food on spec, on time, every time.
