Lennys in Covent Garden is recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join the opening team. You’ll help keep the kitchen running cleanly and support the chefs to set up for service.

This hands-on, section-focused role suits someone hardworking and reliable who thrives in a busy kitchen. You’ll work evenings, weekends and festive periods, with opportunities to grow within MJMK Restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Wash and maintain crockery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment throughout service.
• Keep the kitchen, storage areas and equipment clean and organized.
• Support chefs with basic prep tasks when needed.
• Manage waste and recycling in line with Lenny's procedures.
• Support with deliveries, unpacking and storing stock correctly.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures on every shift.
• Support the wider kitchen team wherever needed during busy periods.

£13.50 to £14.50 per hour (dependent on experience)

Location: Henrietta Street, Covent Garden, site based, WC2E, London

Lenny’s is a new pizzeria on Henrietta Street in Covent Garden, from Max Lewis and MJMK Restaurants. The result of Max’s extensive travels to New Haven, Connecticut, it is built around pizzas that are crispy, chewy and charred, a revival of his much-loved pop-up now finding a permanent home in the heart of Covent Garden. We’re building the opening team now.

We're looking for a Kitchen Porter to join the opening team at Lenny's, keeping the kitchen running cleanly and smoothly behind the scenes. You'll play a vital role in making sure the kitchen is set up to deliver at its best, every service.

This role suits someone hardworking, reliable and happy to be part of a busy kitchen team. You'll work closely with the chefs, and it's a great way into professional kitchens with real room to grow.

This is a hands-on, section-focused role, full of energy from the moment the doors open.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and maintain crockery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment throughout service.

About MJMK Restaurants

MJMK Restaurants owns and operates a collection of award-winning restaurants. Founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, our journey began with Casa do Frango.

In 2020, we partnered with chef patron Santiago Lastra to open KOL, a restaurant in Marylebone celebrating Mexican cuisine with British ingredients. KOL has since earned a Michelin star and been named one of the World's 50 Best Restaurants.
