Job summary

Meldrum House Hotel is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our busy brigade, helping deliver high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organisation in both the main kitchen and banquet facilities.

You’ll work with a talented team, gain training, and contribute to a warm, hospitality-driven guest experience. Previous hotel/restaurant experience and a passion for great food are valued; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure kitchen/refuse areas and stores are cleaned to high standards.
• Use cleaning agents and equipment within COSHH guidelines.
• Follow food safety and health & safety guidelines.
• Assist in storage of food.
