Job summary

Woodlands Park Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels, is seeking a Kitchen Porter in Cobham, Surrey. The role supports a busy kitchen, focusing on hygiene, dishwashing, and back-of-house organisation to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and readiness of equipment and service items.

Work is full-time, 40 hours per week, across 5 days out of 7 including weekends. The starting pay is £13 per hour plus service charge and benefits, with training and progression opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain immaculate hygiene standards across all kitchen areas, including dishwashing and cleaning of equipment.
• Ensure back-of-house areas are organised and well-presented.
• Support chefs by keeping equipment, utensils and service items clean and ready for use.
• Assist with basic food preparation when required and monitor waste disposal.
• Adhere to health, safety and food hygiene regulations and help with stock organisation and deliveries.
