Job summary

Compass Group UK&I in Kidlington is recruiting a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support a busy kitchen on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, assist chefs with prep, and help deliver fresh dishes with excellent service to our customers.

This role includes practical training, a supportive team, wellbeing benefits, and development opportunities. Afternoons Monday to Friday, with the chance to progress within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Assist chefs with preparation and dish assembly.
• Ensure chefs have the tools and ingredients needed.
• Assist in serving meals and drinks to guests when required.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I with a positive brand image.
• Adhere to health, safety and food handling regulations.
• Be adaptable to changing priorities and busy periods.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Kitchen Porter to help ensure the smooth running of the kitchen at CH&CO on a part time basis, contracted to 20 hours per week. As a Kitchen Porter, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of customer care and cleanliness.
