OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our facilities services team. You will support cleaning, dishwashing and basic food preparation in a busy kitchen environment, ensuring high standards of hygiene and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen is valued.
• Basic catering and hospitality certificate such as Food Handling is desirable.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills are important.
• Ability to stand for extended periods is often required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise preparation and storage areas, kitchen walls, stoves, sinks, ovens, and grills.
• Wash dirty dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment; keep cookware clean and ready for service.
• Receive, unpack deliveries and check against orders; report discrepancies to site manager.
• Ensure food and storage areas are organised and tidy.
• Remove rubbish and manage waste and recycling in the kitchen.
• Assist with food preparation when needed.
